Wine is a core experience of culinary culture! Get ready to embark on an informative and luxurious adventure spending the day at a local winery, walking among the vines in the vineyard and tasting the local produce right from the barrel. Our informed oenologists will offer knowledgeable and relaxing excursions through Santorini’s historical vineyards. Santorini is well-known for its wine industry as it is home to one of the indigenous grape variety Assyrtiko, which along with the varieties of Athiri and Aidani produce the sweet but strong dessert wine Vinsanto, the “holly wine”. The White wine is known for its dryness, citrus scent with a tint of iodide salt aroma due to the volcanic soil.
